Legendary marketer accused of misleading “Side Hustle” ads.

Affiliate marketing company Legendary Marketer recently came under scrutiny after customers complained that its ads for a $7-turned-$2,500 online course were deceptive.

Customers told NBC News that a 15-day online business-building course they saw on social media actually cost more than the advertised price of $7. The course teaches people how to become an affiliate marketer, or someone who earns commission by promoting and selling a company's products.

Within the first few days of the course, customers had to meet with a business plan advisor who tried to sell them an additional $2,500 Business Blueprint course and even went so far as to say that one of them said it was worth selling his car to buy it . NBC News Source.

According to Better Business Bureau complaints, if a customer rejected the $2,500 business plan, they could not continue with the 15-day course. Three customers who bought it told NBC News that while the course was informative, it mainly taught them that the fastest way to make money was to sell the same course for $2,500 to other people.
